The
Hall Green is a working family farm. Our accommodation is one of the oldest
farmhouses in Donegal dating back to 1611. Retaining its original features
all rooms are tastefully decorated and coordinated. Most have extensive
views of the countryside and are comfortably furnished with antiques.
Our accommodation boasts of spacious rooms, which we hope will make your stay in Donegal all the more memorable.
After a pleasant day, relax in the mature garden or in the spacious drawing
room with a cup of tea and home made cakes.
Have a walk along the river, watch work being done on the farm - the choice
is yours. Alternatively go further afield with our easy access to the
Donegal and Northern Coastline.
Our central location is perfect for exploring both the beautiful scenery in Donegal and Northern Ireland.
Sites in Donegal include Glenveagh National Park, The Inishowen 100 and Malin Head along with numerous other coastline drives.
The world famous Giants Causeway situated on the North Antrim coast is just one hours drive away.
Locally is the historic town of Lifford with the Courthouse Museum which is certainly worth a visit. Lifford also
plays host to the famous Greyhound stadium.
Whatever you do, enjoy your stay at our family farmhouse, sample the home cooking
with locally produced products and get to know our family and learn about
our culture.
Our accommodation is located 3 miles from Lifford, 12 miles from Derry and 16 miles from Letterkenny.
